Brake fluid Accossato DOT 5.1

The ACCOSSATO Super Brake Fluid DOT5.1 Is a very high boiling-point motor oil, this makes it particularly suitable for motorcycles equipped with ABS system and purely-racing applications, whose brake system is repeatedly strained. This specificity avoids the so-called “vapour lock” effect for which moisture caused by steam alters the brake fluid features. The ACCOSSATO DOT5.1 Brake fluid can be blended with other fluids compliant with FMVSS 116 norms, such as DOT3, DOT4 and DOT5. Oppositely, it can not be used in combination with silicone or silicone esters-based brake fluids. Innovative additives increased the lifetime of the sleeves, hoses and joints of the entirebrke system. Warning: this brake fluid should be replaced soon after each race/competition, according to the guidelines suggested by each motorcycle manufactory company.
